Membership
The Midwest Society of Addiction Medicine (MWSAM) invites addiction medicine professionals in Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri (part of the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s Region VII) to join our regional chapter and multiply your power to make a difference.
MWSAM & ASAM Membership – How Does it Work?

Membership in the Midwest Society of Addiction Medicine (MWSAM) is connected to your national American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) membership. This allows you to receive the benefits of both at the same time. MWSAM Chapter membership offers you state-specific resources and networking with other Midwest regional addiction medicine professionals in NE, KS, and MO.
ASAM’s membership form will suggest an appropriate regional chapter, based on your location. Be sure to take action and indicate MWSAM as your regional chapter. This will enable you to get connected with other addiction medicine professionals in our region who represent all areas of the field.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our virtual or in-person meetings, educational programs, or conferences.
